Efficiently serving clients and consumers

Even's main priority is to guarantee the safety and quality of the products that it sells. Each and every one of its sites works to strict standards and guidelines, including HACCP, ISO, labels, certifications, BRC and IFS. The Group makes a firm commitment to its customers and consumers, from field to plate.

A commitment to product safety

Each and every day, Even analyses many of its ingredients and finished products. Laïta's laboratories alone conduct 4,250 analyses each day, equivalent to one analysis every 20 seconds, 24 hours a day. A total of 1.5 million analyses are performed each year. Food safety is also a key area of concern in distribution. Argel, for example, employs a dedicated team of engineers and quality managers, who conduct a wide range of tasks such as ensuring that products comply with specifications and applicable regulations, performing regular production facility audits, carrying out microbial analyses, etc.

These practical activities help to improve Even's performance when it comes to food safety, ensuring that the Group's products meet both regulatory requirements, and customer and consumer expectations.

A constant drive for innovation

Even invests heavily in research and development in order to meet these demanding requirements. This is the cas e.g. for Even Santé Industrie, a subsidiary of Laïta, develops around 20 new products each year for its professional customers in the specialist nutrition sector. Examples include protein-rich formulas for sports nutrition, meal substitutes for weight loss, hypoallergenic cooking sauces and infant milk, and therapeutic nutrition products for specific target audiences such as children with metabolic disorders.

A focus on health and enjoyment

Even is constantly listening to its clients' needs, regularly fine-tuning product information and developing services to help its customers achieve a balanced diet. Every two months, the Krill Network produces 20 menus that meet the recommendations of the French group for the study of catering and nutrition.

Recognised products

The products that Even sells meet the strictest requirements in terms of taste, texture and high-quality ingredients. They are subject to regular taste tests involving panels of experts and consumers. The results of these tests are encouraging. Laïta's products, for example, regularly win Concours général agricole awards.
