Laïta granted approval to export infant formula to China

LAÏTA | Sights set on China for Even Santé Industrie!

Laïta's nutrition subsidiary, Even Santé Industrie, has just been granted approval to produce infant formula milk for China. This approval, issued by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA), is an all-important stepping stone in reaching the Chinese infant nutrition market. Confirmed on 28th September, this decision was the outcome of a demanding audit.

Thanks to this official authorisation, Even Santé Industrie is set to expand into the Chinese liquid infant nutrition market.

This milestone is also a positive sign for Laïta. Our dairy subsidiary is currently having a new factory built in Créhen (Côtes-d’Armor) which, once fully up and running, will produce 20,000 tonnes of tinned infant formula for overseas export, and in particular the Chinese market.
