Inauguration of the new high-tech facility in Créhen!

LAÏTA | New infant formula and premium milk powder unit inaugurated in the presence of French Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian

After three years of building work and an €80 million investment, the new infant formula and premium milk powder unit in Créhen (Côtes d’Armor, France) was inaugurated on Friday 1st December in the presence of Jean-Yves Le Drian, French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, and Loïg Chesnais-Girard, President of the Regional Council of Brittany.

This high-tech facility, which comprises a 50 m-high drying tower with an annual production capacity of 30,000 tonnes of powder, has led to the creation of 80 direct jobs. Its commissioning is a key milestone for Laïta and its international development. Over 500 people attended the inauguration, at which they had the opportunity to learn about the milk powder production process through guided and virtual tours organised by the production teams.
