Bumper year for Eurilait at the International Cheese Awards 2018

At this year's International Cheese Awards in Nantwich, Eurilait – a subsidiary of Laïta and of Eurial – came up trumps, walking away with 10 awards.

More than 5000 cheeses were entered in this prestigious event, held in the heart of the UK, and were judged by a panel of 250 judges. The panel – chefs, food writers and dairy sector experts (production, R&D, trade, distribution, etc.) – evaluated the competing cheeses based on numerous criteria such as taste, appearance and texture as well as the quality of their bloom.

Madame Loïk's Whipped Blue Cheese features among the 2018 winners with a silver medal in the soft or cream cheese class and Paysan Breton's Galette bagged a silver medal for best French cheese.
